About Us

Sonoma String Collective began in college, where its members first worked together as dedicated chamber musicians, building a shared foundation of musical excellence and collaboration. Today, the ensemble continues under the co-management of original members Miranda Ronan and Andy Ting, who bring years of performance experience and thoughtful leadership to the group. Its ranks include a 16-year-old prodigy, emerging composers, and exceptional young musicians - each selected for their artistry, professionalism, and musical sensitivity.

 

The ensemble’s mission is not only to provide affordable, high-quality live string music for weddings and events, but also to highlight and support outstanding local talent in Sonoma County and the surrounding area. As a trusted string quartet for weddings in Sonoma County, Sonoma String Collective is proud to bring elegant, reliable live music to ceremonies, cocktail hours, and celebrations of all kinds.
